Our Mission Statement

To provide a safe and encouraging environment where students learn horsemanship and horseback riding on an individualized basis, at their own speed. Introducing kids to the beauty and friendship of horses that builds respect, compassion, responsibility, honesty, integrity and self confidence. These are values every child can experience.

Jineen and Will Walker established  Loland Oaks Farm in 1984. Located in the geographical heart of Massachusetts, Loland Oaks is a 28 acre equine facility in a tranquil and peaceful setting, with a family atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home!

Jineen has ridden, trained and shown horses for over 35 years and has taught riding instruction and horsemanship to beginner riders for the past 15 years.

Will is the backbone that has built and maintains the farm, and is the strong support for all of the family’s undertakings. Will has also graced the instruction program with his support as horse show judge and the famous Camp Cookie!

Tricia is the best supporting assistant, working with summer camps, clinics and fun events at the farm for the past 10 years.

The most important thing in the Walkers lives, is their family and helping and supporting each other.
Secondly, is the importance of their students -who become like family.Many students of Jineen’s started with her as first time beginners and stay on with her for many years.
