HORSEMANSHIP CLASSES

To enhance our weekly horse-back riding lesson program, we are excited to be able to offer to you classes in horsemanship.
The classes are open to students of all ages and ability, and are designed in levels of achievement with certificates awarded on an individual basis.
This opportunity is open to the general public, so please invite your friends for the afternoon!
This program will utilize horses for hands-on demonstrations, text books, videos and testing, to give
students an opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills in horsemanship and theory with horses.
The spring session will run on Saturday afternoons from 1:30pm to 3:00pm during the months of March, April and May at $25.00 per class.
The closing date for registration is the Saturday prior to each class.

• breeds, colors and markings
• conformation and anatomy
• gaits and movement
• first aid/horse health
• stable management
• grooming, bathing, tools
• blankets, bandaging and boots tack, equipment and use
